Woodstock, it wasn't.

Neither of us were at Woodstock, but we don't think it was quite like Seven Peaks Music Festival.

For the most part, the entertainers didn't disappoint. These are our favorites.
Clint Black
Dierks Bentley
Del McCoury Band

Miranda Lambert

Sam Bush

This was our first music festival; we didn't know what to expect. Our overall view is it was well organized and the grounds were kept clean. For the most part we enjoyed the entertainers (not so much Elle King.) There were some surprises; many more young people like 40 and under than we expected, more single women than single men, lot's of families with children and beer sold for $17 per a 24 oz can. We have been and Captain has the tee shirt, so music festivals will probably not be a part of our retirement plan.

Seven Peaks Music Festival was held near the charming little town of Buena Vista.
Hope to visit Buena Vista again and have a beer at Jailhouse.

The best part of Buena Vista is that is where our good friends, Steve and Adele live.We met them in Arizona last winter and became instant friends. We were able to stay in their driveway the night before and the night following the festival

A lovely home  in a beautiful setting.

Steve and Adele took us to St. Elmo.

The Aspens are just starting to turn.

Currently we are in Rocky Mountain National Park. where we do not have cell service. We drove into Estes Park so Captain could do the laundry while ABN  updated the blog. Saturday we will begin our trek to California.
